You will never use Gimp if you do not try or rely on web applications. I know it is not easy when starting but practise and you will get there.

Ok, might take you 15 minutes instead of dialling-up some web page but at least you are in control.

@rich, that's why programs like gimp exist. Like a DIY in our region saying : what you do yourself, you usually do better (and you are learning something)
