Denzjos, that look amazing! I really like the way you have made it look like a flash.
However, I wanted to give it a go making the girl look darker like you said, because the sun is behind her.
What's your honest opinion of my attempt at it?
The girl is missing some contrast, try 'Colours/Brightnes-Contrast' or as rich suggest: use curves (Colours/Curves) to optimise the colors.
Find some simular photos with google (search with : girl at sea) as reference.
