Because of that (the transparent layers),

I would untick the visibility of the white layer (NLGI2), then go to Layer > New from Visible, you will have a new layer called "Visible", move that one where you need to move it (don't forget to make the white layer visible again once the new "Visible" layer is created)

Many thanks to both of you. I now have two options to fit several labels on one A4 sheet. That's what I was looking for
