Problem when I select, copy and paste as new image - frenchie971 - 03-26-2025 Unlike Gimp 2.10, Gimp 3.0 creates a new image the size of the old one when I select, copy/or cut and paste as new image. The only trick I found is to create an empty image the size of the selection, and Paste as Floating Data, the put it in the right place. What a waste of time ! I regret Gimp 2.10 for basic use (and with Manjaro, no way to downgrade Gimp 3.0 to 2.10). Or I can use Krita, that works well. RE: Problem when I select, copy and paste as new image - Ofnuts - 03-26-2025 (03-26-2025, 06:48 PM)frenchie971 Wrote: Of course, but it's a bit of a frustation.
