I cannot remove background no matter what - FooKat - 04-07-2025 I have been trying to remove background from a few photos, but I cannot do it. I have tried Fuzzy Select tool, the paths tool, and the free select tool, but I cannot do it. Each time, the background turns into a beige color. Make sure you have an alpha channel: Layer > Transparency > Add alpha channel. Note that the JPEG format doesn't support transparency, so you have to export to a format that does (PNG or TIFF). This is also the reason why a file imported from JPEG has no alpha channel by default. RE: I cannot remove background no matter what - FooKat - 04-09-2025 Thank you. This worked! |
