Can you give an example: I know in a previous post you were unable to attach an image. Details are shown in the attachments link, top of the forum or https://www.gimp-forum.net/misc.php?action=help&hid=11 Take a screenshot and crop it down to a suitable size that still shows the issue. Gimp can also screenshot itself. File -> Create -> Screenshot. Export as a jpeg - saves on bandwidth. You said you were using Gimp 2.10.14, so I pulled that old version out just in case the default themes were different but I can not see any "background" to the layer visibility icon, even when you mouse hover over it is just a slight outline. Do you perhaps have the layer's tagged? If so, then that would put a backgroundcolor behind the visibility icon. Right-click on the layer and go to "Color Tags" - if a color is selected, then you can just switch it to "None". |
