Layers padlock frozen - raysalaugh - 04-25-2025
Two layers open, wishing to transform one independent of the other layer but any action transforms both. They are locked together. The padlock is closed and I cannot get it to open. Tried everything I know to do to no avail. Saved images in all ways. Tried the little tool options next to layers still nothing. Main lock remains closed, Done an update, been in preferences and restored to default values, still no joy anyone suggest any thing else please

Need a bit more information. Gimp 2.10 or Gimp 3 ? They work in different ways.

..also are you using any sort of overlay ? Seem to recall something nvidia that interfers with mouse key press.
