Swapping faces - Espermaschine - 12-03-2016
So for your classic photochop fun:
swapping faces from one person to the other,
whats the best way to adjust the skin color so that it matches ?
I usually just eye it with 'Hue-Saturation' and/or 'Colour Balance' and the result is mostly not very great.
There is also this technique:

which i find pretty hard to do.
Also not too keen on the 'Seamless Blending' G'MIC filter:

Pat David's method is really the best, especially if your reference point is more ore less where you'll do the junction.
It's nothing more than using curves to alter the coloring of one picture so that on the reference pixel the three R, G and B values are the same in both pictures.
Which got me thinking that it can likely be scripted... but don't hold your breath I have other plans for today

Yeah i was wondering if that it possible. Would also make a nice G'MIC filter.
