Hi,
Kindly help me creating a composite image of a eclipse like this. I have all the jpg and raw of the sequence.

Various ways, depending on the images. Here is one way to try.

1. For each of the 9 images remove the black background ie make it transparent.
First, add alpha channel (Layer > Transparency > Add Alpha Channel)
Then, (Colours > Colour To Alpha) and change the default white to black to remove the black backgound

2. Create a new black image wide enough to accept all 9 photos.

3. Open all 9 images as layers
(File > Open As Layers) and select all 9 photos

4. Select each layer in turn. Use the Move Tool to move it into the required position

5. SAVE as xcf. EXPORT in the required format (jpg, png)
If you need to make changes open the xcf and make changes there.

NOTE: Depending on the size of your images you may need to reduce the size of the original 9 images or you will end up with a very big image file.
