Ways to reproduce the "Avengers I don't feel so good" meme effect. - rustyraptor - 05-07-2018 Hi, im new to the forum. Some of you may or may not have noticed a recent meme that's been popping around. It comes from the new Avengers: Infinity War movie. I won't spoil it I will just say there is a scene where a particular person is "fading away"; bits of them slowing breaking away and disapearing from reality. Here are some examples of the meme. Imgur Gallery There are already photoshop tutorials out there. I sort of figured out a way to do it but it's not entirely ideal. I'm sure there is a better way or additional steps we can take to improve it. I only tested it on a piece of text on a white background. Here is my process. -Use Iwarp to stretch the object in a desireable shape. -select a region close or a part of the region that hasn't been warped yet -Filters>Distorts>Mosaic, and set it to a desired shape. (I used triangles) and set everything else as desired. -repeat above on all the regions till it looks the way you want it. -can help to first make big triangles then warp again and make smaller ones. I am interested in seeing what anyone else can come up with. The X and Y mosaics should have identical tiles, even if their color are different. There is also likely some constraint on these colors, they should be produced from a gradient. Will try something tonight... |
