No Text to Path Option in Tool - Raining Star - 08-06-2018
Morning, I'm new to the forum.
I'm following a YouTube tutorial and I find that my Tool Options Box doesn't give me the same "Text to Path" I'm seeing in the video Tool Options Box. The video is 2.8 and I'm using 2.10.4.
I've tried changing from Fixed to Dynamic without success.

Until you find out exactly what is going wrong, there are three options.
Assuming that is a valid path. Make sure the text layer is active. (seems to be)

1. Does the regular Layer -> Text along Path not show?
2. I would try this first Make sure the text tool is active in the text. Right click to bring up the menu, then Text along Path.
3. Right click on the text layer in the layers dialogue to bring up the menu, then Text along Path.
If nothing works, try again with a new canvas, new path.

Because you are looking at a tutorial for 2.8 (or before). In 2.10, that button is no longer in the Text tool, but if your active layer is a text layer, you will find a Layer>Text to path item in the image menubar.
