Make an edge using a selection. - rich2005 - 03-25-2017 This is a follow up from a request for a Gimp plugin "A Stencil" that creates an 'edge' to constrain a paint tool. Gimp does not have that tool and I think that using standard tools to create a selection is one way to go. A short video demonstrating two possibilities, 1. Using a path to create a selection 2. Using the quickmask tool. More about basic use of the selection tools here. http://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Gimp-selection-tools-for-beginners RE: Make an edge using a selection. - eingram25 - 03-25-2017 (03-25-2017, 11:13 AM)rich2005 Wrote: This is a follow up from a request for a Gimp plugin "A Stencil" that creates an 'edge' to constrain a paint tool.Excellent! especially about the aspect ratio for brushes.
