User interface color - ldubia - 04-01-2017 I have seen several YouTube videos featuring GIUMP with a dark grey interface. I am wondering how to change from white to the dark grey. Thanks Larry RE: User interface color - rich2005 - 04-01-2017 (04-01-2017, 04:33 AM)ldubia Wrote: I have seen several YouTube videos featuring GIUMP with a dark grey interface. The easiest way is use the version of Gimp (even GIUMP) from http://www.partha.com where the dark theme is default. Otherwise, search for gimp +dark themes. Beware of anything more than a couple of years old, that might not work due to Gimp version changes. Your operating system has an effect as well, what works in linux, might not work in Windows or OSX. Attached a dark theme as an example. Unzip and put in your Gimp profile themes folder In Windows that is C:\Users\your-name\.gimp-2.8\themes Open Gimp go to Edit -> Preferences -> Themes Select a theme, then you probably need to restart Gimp. RE: User interface color - Ofnuts - 04-01-2017 You just find a suitable "theme". I can't recommend any since I'm happy with the default one. An example. |
