The characters in my image appear to float above the background - Tinker Terry - 03-24-2019 My characters appear to float above my background layer. I have tried using drop shadows but that doesn't seem to do the job of making the characters look more natural. Tried attaching the xcf file but always get error page. RE: The characters in my image appear to float above the background - rich2005 - 03-24-2019 I do not really understand the floating bit. Adding a drop shadow will only make it look more 'floating' There is a limit on .xcf file size, it is quite large 2 MB or so but if you save as a filename.xcf.gz it will be compressed and might post. Otherwise make a screenshot of the whole Gimp window Edit -> Create -> Screenshot then export as a jpeg & attach as per https://www.gimp-forum.net/misc.php?action=help&hid=11 |
