Does GIMP use "Hot Keys" - DoctorBill - 04-11-2017 Does 'GIMP" use or have Hot Keys to allow one to bypass the sometimes clunky menu system ? How do you make a menu change become permanent (or become the default) ? How do I make this Forum show "Newest Post First" ? DoctorBill RE: Does GIMP use "Hot Keys" - Blighty - 04-12-2017 Hot Keys: Use (Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts) Menu Change: Not too sure what you require here, but you can try (Edit > Preferences > Tool Options > Save Tool Options Now) and uncheck Save Tool Options On Exit. If this is not what you require there are plenty more things you can use in the Preferences section.
