How do edits such as Exposure or Hue work? - jvanderh10 - 05-16-2019 Edits in Photoshop such as Exposure, Curves, and Hue apply a layer over the original image making it a more versatile experience, to where reordering edit layers can produce a different outcome, and allowing one to constantly return to one specific edit after making other ones and altering it. Does GIMP work in this fashion? Or is it something too advanced for me to figure out? I'm using GIMP through the Linux addition to my Chromebook as a photo editor since I obviously cannot install Photoshop or want to pay for it. I have no issue doing the basics and I know how layers and their opacities work but it's pretty much anything in the Color tab that I don't understand to do in a versatile manner similar to Photoshop.
