Subtract From Selection. Bucket-Fill-Tool outside shape - datalars@mail.com - 10-05-2019 I'm a total gimp-newbie and this is probably an easy thing to do but I'm failing. I have three layers. Layer 1. An image Layer 2. A color(I chose foreground) which I have made a bit transparent. Layer 3. A shape that does not totally cover layer two. This shape I filled with a color with Bucket-Fill-Tool. That was no problem. But I want to fill the area outside the shape instead. I tried to do Layer -> Transparency -> Subtract From Selection but it didn't work. Any help is appreciated. I just realized I posted in the wrong Forum. Sorry about that. This can be deleted.
