Hi,
I tried various avatars. 64x64, 128x128 etc. None of them gets displayed. I am on the default theme. Not that it matters, but thought of reporting.

Yes, bug in the forum software, that requires a semi-automated nudge to the backing database, which I do when I notice a broken avatar.

Hmmm, so the bug is still there? I cannot upload an avatar pic. it is 98x100 pixel and 13 KB. I also tried 60x60 pixel an 8 KB. No way!

Fixed. Yes, here is a bug somewhere and I have to tweak your avatar record in the DB.

Trying to load mine, 3 times in different sizes, it does not work, I got and empty avatar now...

Set a single avatar and call again, there is a bug in the forum software, I have the tweak the DB to accept new avatars.
