Rotating item cuts it off, how to enlarge content boundary? - marigolden - 12-09-2019 The dashed line square around a pasted item is too small for me to rotate it without it cutting off. I know how to do layer>crop to content but how do I do the opposite and make the boundary bigger? RE: Rotating item cuts it off, how to enlarge content boundary? - Espermaschine - 12-09-2019 Layer -> Layer Boundary Size RE: Rotating item cuts it off, how to enlarge content boundary? - akovia - 12-09-2019 (12-09-2019, 06:40 PM)marigolden Wrote: The dashed line square around a pasted item is too small for me to rotate it without it cutting off. This sounds like you might want Image > Fit Canvas to Layer, but I may be misunderstanding. marigolden Wrote:I know how to do layer>crop to content but how do I do the opposite and make the boundary bigger? I would say the Layer > Layer to Image Size would be the opposite. Hm nothing seems to happen when I press Image>Fit Canvas to Layers, the screen kind of just blinks. and then in the undo it says I've resized it even though it doesn't seem like it. Yeah the layer>layer to image size is related to what I meant but I didn't want quite that big yet that is super useful to see that option brought up as being an extension of this one! Thank you(Uᵔᴥᵔ) RE: Rotating item cuts it off, how to enlarge content boundary? - Ofnuts - 12-09-2019 There are several options to handle the result when rotating a layer. Some enlarge it, so when it is canvas-sized to begins with (or near an edge), parts of the rotated layer are outside the canvas. In that case Image>Fit canvas to layers is your friend. |
