Collage grid - User123 - 12-22-2019

Hi,
I did a close up video of a geografic map and exported all single frames. Now i have over 11000 Jpeg files.
I need to make one big picture.i need to be able to get this 11000 jpeg arranged in a grid and have the possibility to move the single jpeg in the grid so they allign precisly.
Any help is much appreciated.
I obviously hope there is a way this wont take me a life time to finishWink
PS. I imported al 11k files as layer and total file size was 36gb...my pc cant handle that much....maybe 12gb is doable

Manually, try the "grid", after setting its spacing to your frame size.

Automatically, use my ofn-tiles script to load all the images as individual layers or as a single layer (File>Open tiles...). Never tested it with something that big Smile The ZIP contains a HTML doc, read it first...

Just a question. A video is typically 25 or 30 frames per second. How much of an overlap do you actually get between those single frames? Can you discard some (a lot) of them ?
