Gimp will not open - FutureLights - 01-03-2020
Hi, I have a new install of Windows 10 Pro x64. I installed Gimp 2.10, but when I go to launch it, nothing happens. I started the gimp console and I got these error messages:

I do not know why Windows users insist on installing / reinstalling anything over and over again. Error messages tell you something is wrong and you need to track the problem down.
This seems to be a recent problem linked to nVidia graphics hardware. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues/4385#note_675560
As I understand, there is a Windows Gimp 2.10.14 version released 1 January as a fix. Worth a try.

If that does not work. Go back a version to Gimp 2.10.12 Not much difference between the two versions for regular users.
