what settings to use to sharpen? - seafan - 05-23-2017 Hi, What settings are recommended to use Unsharp Mask for landscape and portraits? so that the effect is not too over the top. I experimented a little, seems that I'm quite a bit off. The Threshold can be increased a bit to avoid noise in the sky. Another way to use it it to have a radius around 1. and an amount around 1. Wikipedia explains a few things.
