Merge images - nelson - 05-09-2020 Hi is there a video on how to merge three images? If so can anyone point me in the right direction? Do you want side -by-side? This one for two images https://youtu.be/oi9fvzFn2dc 3 is just making the canvas a bit larger. RE: Merge images - nelson - 05-09-2020 Hi thanks for the reply, by merge I mean stitch together to create a panorama. RE: Merge images - rich2005 - 05-09-2020 Three images to merge together, with an overlap to provide a single wider image? If they are a good match for colour and alignment then. You could try as a starter, the pandora script: see: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Stitching-and-panorama-photo?pid=17290#pid17290 for some hints and a demo. A very much older demo of pandora I did (2010) but still a reasonable example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBma6CT3mjY Otherwise, not Gimp, for panoramas a dedicated application Hugin is best: http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ RE: Merge images - programmer_ceds - 05-09-2020 (05-09-2020, 03:34 PM)nelson Wrote: Hi thanks for the reply, by merge I mean stitch together to create a panorama. No disrespect to GIMP but something like Hugin would be a better tool for the job. Whilst you could do this in GIMP it wouldn't be the easiest way. |
