Hi is there a video on how to merge three images? If so can anyone point me in the right direction?

Define merge.
Do you want side -by-side? This one for two images https://youtu.be/oi9fvzFn2dc 3 is just making the canvas a bit larger.

Hi thanks for the reply, by merge I mean stitch together to create a panorama.

Three images to merge together, with an overlap to provide a single wider image? If they are a good match for colour and alignment then.

Otherwise, not Gimp, for panoramas a dedicated application Hugin is best: http://hugin.sourceforge.net/

No disrespect to GIMP but something like Hugin would be a better tool for the job. Whilst you could do this in GIMP it wouldn't be the easiest way.
