No easy / automatic way, use the clone tool to select a plain part of the background and using different size of brush clone in around the defect. https://docs.gimp.org/de/gimp-tool-clone.html Then more repairs with a 1 pix brush to fill in missing bits. The jpeg you posted has a lot of jpeg artefacts, you would be better making your screenshot in a lossless format, say png.
