Only white to be tansparent - hendrikbez - 01-23-2021 Good day I have 0-9 numbers, how can i only let the white part be transparent, I cannot get it to be transparent, I only get the whole image transparent. RE: Only white to be tansparent - Krikor - 01-23-2021 Please, verify this post: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-removing-background-of-image?pid=21642#pid21642 [attachment=5539] RE: Only white to be tansparent - rich2005 - 01-23-2021 I might do it like this: https://i.imgur.com/3gXzEXU.mp4 1 minute animation. Add an alpha channel Use the fuzzy select with a high-ish threshold ( ~ 80) to select the white area and lose the drop shadow. Hold the shift key down to add to the selection . Cut the selection. Restore the drop shadow. (put a temporary white layer under so you can see the effect) Export as a png to keep the transparency. RE: Only white to be tansparent - hendrikbez - 01-23-2021 Thank you both, I got it working |
