keeping Gimp Gimple (Gimp Simple) - hypnobubbles - 03-10-2021
I'm trying to keep my 2.8 and not update to the 2.10. but i can't find a way to do it, please help?

You need to give more details, You have Gimp 2.8 installed in a WinXP (that is what your profile says) Why is there an update problem?
Are you updating Windows to maybe Win10 and need to reinstall GIMP.
All the old versions of Gimp are still available see: https://download.gimp.org/mirror/pub/gimp/v2.8/windows/
You probably need the Gimp https://download.gimp.org/mirror/pub/gimp/v2.8/windows/gimp-2.8.22-setup.exe

I have the latest version Gimp 2.10 and in addition a portable version 2.8
