Need help isolating object against alpha channel - sayluv - 05-08-2021 Hi- I am trying to isolate my dog in my project but I forgot to add the alpha channel. I tried creating a new image so I could select and past the dog in but when I do a fuzzy select I cant get it to select the dog or the white so that I can invert it. Thx Gimp File: http://www.filedropper.com/01-09-19bholuradialprosthesis RE: Need help isolating object against alpha channel - sayluv - 05-08-2021 I was able to kind of fix it. I'm not sure why the mask was all crazy but I was able to mask it off. Then I created a new project and went to advanced and selected fill background with transparency. Then I pasted the dog into the new picture. RE: Need help isolating object against alpha channel - rich2005 - 05-08-2021 While you were fixing it yourself, always best if you can do that. A quick 3 minute video https://youtu.be/99ZgKibCbwg there might be some things in there that you can use. |
