GIMP failed to load a large gif - Sargon Torchrise - 05-08-2021 The software GIMP failed to load large gif. When I loaded the gif in GIMP, most of the frames became transparent/nothing. The number of frames is 1905 What happened? How can I fix this? I am using a Windows 10 laptop. By the way, this below is the link to the video: https://youtu.be/gOSyI2B2YZs Please help me. RE: GIMP failed to load a large gif - rich2005 - 05-08-2021 Difficult to tell from the video. Possibly the gif is optimised and the background removed from most of the frames. You can see the mode is combine. Try Filters -> Animation -> Unoptimise RE: GIMP failed to load a large gif - Ofnuts - 05-09-2021 (05-08-2021, 08:25 PM)rich2005 Wrote: Difficult to tell from the video. However the image is quite big and there are many frames, so the OP is in for looooooong processing times unless s/he has RAM to spare. |
