Scaling and Canvass Size - maicart - 08-15-2017 Hello, I have to create a 100x100px icon out of this 640x426px picture (see link below), focusing on the girl's face. I've been told that first I need to scale the image as closely as possible to 100x100, and then change the canvass size to 100x100. How can I do it so that I can select just the girl's face, and not her body or surrounding elements? Could you tell me the steps so that I can do this with other pictures? Thanks. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4_Hyl1...sp=sharing RE: Scaling and Canvass Size - Kevin - 08-15-2017 The way I would go about it is to make a square crop round the face using the crop tool (it can help to set a fixed aspect ratio of 1:1) - doesn't matter how many pixels, just that it's the same horizontally and vertically. Then Scale the resulting image to be 100x100 pixels using the image scale dialog. [attachment=686] [attachment=687] RE: Scaling and Canvass Size - maicart - 08-15-2017 It worked! Thanks so much! |
