Layers being moved when exporting to PDF - Deanna - 06-14-2021 Hello, This word is 3 layers. Brownish on top, white for a bit of a 'shadow' (low opacity) and black to set off the white. I haven't had this mess up like this before and don't know what to do to fix it and export it as I would like it. Suggestions? Ideas? Thanks! Are these all text layers (not that it matter much but best if you keep them as such) Might look like this: https://i.imgur.com/zOOot14.jpg The main question is, what file format are you exporting to ? png , jpeg , PDF or something else. It might be that the format used is screwing up some layer offset. What you can try after saving your work as a Gimp xcf (keeping all layers) (1 ) Add a layer at the top using Layer -> New From Visisble and export that. The new layer is 'written in stone' and should export in any format. example: https://i.imgur.com/McPttUW.jpg alternative (2) Keep 'as-is' with the three layers but for each layer use Layer -> Layer to Image size The snag with that is you lose the text properties, the layers become bitmap layers. RE: Layers being moved when exporting to PDF - Deanna - 06-14-2021 Thanks, I'll try your suggestions!
