Struggling to auto rotate a brush continuously - PixLab - 07-07-2021

I would like my brush to rotate continuously 360 deg (like a propeller if i can say that) to do something like twisted wires
something like here > https://depositphotos.com/126584858/stock-photo-colorful-twisted-wires.html
but I' struggling with the settings I can't get the brush to rotate continuously, I don't know what setting I should check, tried many, but felt all the way down
any suggestion?

There are two ways.

The first is to use a gih brush. Duplicate the image many times. Rotate each layer a little more than the previous one until there is one complete rotation.

The second method is to use a gbr brush and dynamics.

Thanks, +1 for the link, some interesting twists and good explanations,

I discovered some unexpected effect like with the triangular wave while I was tinkering Big Grin ).
It does work well with a clipboard brush as well Wink

To resume the most important are in the brush options dynamics > fade length and "repeat = sawtooth wave and in the matrix Angle crossed with Fade

again, thanks a lot, much appreciated
