Help aditing a picture. - TeckyWalla - 07-09-2021 New to Gimp and have search for, including a Youtube that will solve my dilemma for the easiest way to do it. I have gone through the process of removing a background of a picture using Gimp Workshop and saved as a .PNG file. There are a couple of items missing that were covered by a another object, but I have the said objects in another picture file that is exactly what I need. Could someone steer me to the best tutorial, or youtube vid. that explains the way to remove from one and paste into the first. I can't seem to find a decent description or preferred way of removing the object from one file and placing in another. I have the copy of the Ultimate GIMP Guide 2.10. Sorry for the newbie question. RE: Help aditing a picture. - PixLab - 07-09-2021 Open your main project in GIMP Once it's open, open the directory/folder where is the picture you want to add to your project and click 'n drag that picture you want to put in, inside the canvas of the main project and drop it (or you can drop it directly in the layer dock dialogue), Done you got your picture in your main project as a layer RE: Help aditing a picture. - TeckyWalla - 07-10-2021 Thanks!
