Is there a way to increase saturation past 100% - michelstango - 01-19-2022 I have an image that has to be used with a de-saturation shader. Normally I just up the saturation so the colors are not washed out, but said image already has several colors that are at maximum saturation. Is there any way to compensate for the de-saturation? Is this for a game? What is this de-saturation shader ? Colours already maximum saturation ? No way I know of to go beyond that, by definition maximum is maximum. Is it possible to adjust the image in Gimp so that the external de-saturation shader changes nothing ? The gmic filter has a selective desaturation filter that you could apply. RE: Is there a way to increase saturation past 100% - michelstango - 01-20-2022 Thanks for your help rich2005, in order: -Yes -Tentatively yes, though it seems to be harder to parse then that. -I was afraid of that. -If there is I'd love to know it, that'd be really useful. -I'll give that a go. I was hoping there was some weird trick of color I could use to get around this one, but I think I'll have to do some really bananas code to sort this one. |
