problem pink background - Aureelien83 - 05-27-2022 Hi, I have a problem when i saved my project on pdf, jpg or other. All of my pages have a light pink background I use picture with white background but if it's on white background it's ok no ? Someone have this prob ? Ps: Sorry for my approximate English Thanks ! RE: problem pink background - rich2005 - 05-27-2022 You need to give more details of how you make your image. Layers and how you make them It can be the value of the background color. When a jpeg or pdf is exported any transparency is replaced by the background color. an example: https://i.imgur.com/NbPeYYx.mp4 first an off-white then white ....but it might be any transparency is not 100% transparent, some color still there. Use the color picker with the info window to check what is there. https://i.imgur.com/5QieYM7.jpg ps. your English is better than my French RE: problem pink background - sallyanne - 05-28-2022 Seems your white background wasn't completely white. it needs to be ffffff to be properly white.
You can rectify this if you follow these steps
Upload your finished image into gimp. Then with the color picker tool choose the 'pink' area. This color should now go into your active foreground or background color. Bring up the color to alpha tool and the color you want is NOT white. But the color that is in your active colors now (Usually black & white) Click on the color picker in the dialog that comes up (which may be twice). Once you color has changed to your active color then press ok.
This will make that area transparent. Put another white layer on it and put it to the bottom then it will be all white in the background
