g-code plugin - studley@thunderbolt.me.uk - 08-13-2022 Dear Sirs How do I "drop" the g-code plug-in into the GIMP plug in folder? Regards John RE: g-code plugin - rich2005 - 08-13-2022 The website is not bad for instructions: https://github.com/buildbotics/gimp-laser-plugin However make sure you do get the actual python plugin and not a load of html garbage. My advice, go to that green 'Code' button and download the zip. In Windows look for the Gimp plugins folder, usually C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins This is a hidden folder, unhide it: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028316/windows-view-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-10 The zip will open in its own window, drag the 2.10 plugin into the Gimp folder [attachment=8493] Does it work ? I do not know, I do not have a laser engraver but it looks like this in Gimp. [attachment=8494] |
