Novel Cover - DCDP - 01-29-2023 Hello everybody First, I share you my current work : a cover for SF novel. Secondary, I need some tips because I'm not totally satisfied of my work. The spaceship and space background are like I want: close to a artificial work. But the planet seems too real and too different graphically in comparison of the spaceship. I tried a lot of setting and modulations without a good rendering (as I want). Could you help me with some advices that might send me in other ways. Thanks a lot. I'm sorry if it is not the right topic trend. RE: Novel Cover - PixLab - 02-01-2023 There is a plethora of artistic effect in GIMP, go to Filters > Artistic, (Cartoon or Oilify might what you want) If not enough, With the G'MIC plug-in, go to Filters > G'MIC, a window opens goto Artistic the list is impressive [attachment=9313] If you don't have the G'MIC plug-in in GIMP, it's over there > https://gmic.eu (official website) RE: Novel Cover - Ofnuts - 02-01-2023 The planet could have some clouds. And put to scale the roads are huge (assuming these lines are roads). G'MIC is interesting. But no plug-in for Mac OS-X. (02-01-2023, 07:47 AM)Ofnuts Wrote: The planet could have some clouds. And put to scale the roads are huge (assuming these lines are roads). Yes it's a part of the problem. |
