How to remove reflections from an image - rico - 03-10-2023 Hello, I would like to know if any of you know how to remove a shine effect due to reflections? On this image I would like to have the butt of the rifle uniform without shine effects. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me. Depending on the size you will need more for a large area. RE: How to remove reflections from an image - Krikor - 03-11-2023 I tried as follows: I created a new layer and filled it with gray #343434, multiply mode (Maybe linear burn was another option); With fuzzy Select Tool, I selected the bright part of the image; On the new layer (in gray) I created a selection mask. I adjusted the opacity of this mask and applied a blur to the mask to lessen the effect. [attachment=9528] I think those were the steps.
