GIMP & dual screen usage? - yy_hom - 04-09-2023 Hi Folks, GIMP newbie using version 2.8 on 32-bit W7 laptop, just as a hobby, not professional. Considering buying W11 laptop, and the 'asus zenbook pro duo 15' caught my eye: https://www.asus.com/us/laptops/for-creators/zenbook/zenbook-pro-duo-15-oled-ux582/ https://www.costco.com/asus-15.6-zenbook-ux582hm-touchscreen-laptop-11th-gen-intel-core-i9-11900h-geforce-rtx-3060-windows-11-professional-celestial-blue.product.100831583.html The 'screenpad plus' feature on the 2nd display supposedly works with Adobe p-shop, etc. Will it also work with GIMP? If not Windows, maybe Linux? Sorry if this is not posted to the correct forum. TIA for your time. RE: GIMP & dual screen usage? - Ofnuts - 04-09-2023 I do use Gimp on two displays (obviously, not in single-window mode), but that's on Linux but IIRC it also worked on Windows. Now if the displays are pressure sensitive, I can't tell if this is fully supported by Gimp or if you just get a pressure-less pointer. |
