That's a very nice bridge, I like it, the only down is the hand crank IMO, maybe they put too much thoughts on the bridge itself and no more remaining neurons to think of an electric crank Big Grin

If you look at the video, they tell you why they choose the crank.

Now, the square thing is nice but a bridge between two circles would have worked just as well and be less of an engineering challenge, since it would just be a large rack and pinion.
