Adjusting a path along a curve - Ofnuts - 09-03-2023 A simple technique to make a path follow a given curve: Make a path that is a straight line between two points o the curve. [attachment=10313]
Eyeball where a tangent to the curve is roughly parallel to the path line (around the middle for a regular curve). Click on the corresponding point on the line, and control-click on the line to add an anchor, [attachment=10314]
Drag the anchor to the curve. Your path should be a line that is pretty close to the curve. [attachment=10315]
If it is not close enough, repeat the process for the parts that require it [attachment=10316]
Very often a single midpoint is sufficient, for instance the top of the wing is an easy fit:
