Layer color to specific layer - kikateadrunker - 04-09-2024 Hi all! I ran into a probably trivial problem: I can’t put a color layer (overlapping) on a certain layer, and instead, the color layer covers everything. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Add a layer mask to the color layer Layer -> Mask -> Add Layer Mask then select White(full opacity) Paint with the layer mask active over the required area with a suitable brush in black (one of the fuzzy brushes) This uncovers the required area. [attachment=11623] When complete invert the layer mask Colors -> Invert. [attachment=11624] Alternative way. If you do not want to use a separate layer. A more immediate result is paint directly in with the color and the brush in Darken Only mode. [attachment=11625] |
