how to blend a low res with same high res photo - jellimon - 05-20-2024

Hi all
Very much a beginner here

I have two photograph's that are of the same subject, exactly the same shot, one is a high resolution B&W and one is lower resolution colour,

How could I blend the two together and retain the High Resolution AND add the colour from the Lower resolution photograph to achieve a high resolution colour result.

Is it possible.

Many thanks

Scale up the colored image to the exact same size than the black and white in pixels and put it on top of the B&W high resolution

Low resolution color (from 400x267 pixels scaled up to 1600x 1066 pixels)

High resolution B&W 1600x 1066 pixels

Then put the layer of the colored photo in LCh color mode
