Connect Huion Inspiroy H1060P to GIMP - caesarmaximus - 07-25-2024 Does anyone know how to connect a Huion Inspiroy H1060P drawing tablet to GIMP on a Windows computer? RE: Connect Huion Inspiroy H1060P to GIMP - rich2005 - 07-25-2024 Are you really using Windows ME ? For more recent systems there are quite recent updated drivers. https://www.huion.com/download?model=41 Might be worth a try. Generally you need to plug a USB tablet in before starting Gimp. Edit: That was a serious suggestion, used to be that plug-in / unplug / plug-in often got things working. I can not give you a Huion example, but first without Gimp running see what you get opening the Huion settings utility. From the Huion manual https://www.huion.com/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=manual&id=128 W That at least shows the tablet is working. Just as an example: I use a VEIKK tablet and the control utility looks like this. [attachment=12167] Once you know the OS (Windows) recognises the tablet, Check the settings in Gimp Edit -> Input Devices You need to find the stylus (1) Set the Mode to Screen (2) and if necessary adjust the Pressure Curve (3) and Save the settings In use you do need to set a Dynamic (4) Pressure Opacity is common but you can switch to Pressure Size or Velocity Tapering - just experiment.
