I am trying to get the Gogle Nick Collection to work with a new install of  Gimp 21.10.38 on a Win 11 computer and cant get it to work, have put files in the correct plugin folder and can see in filters but when I go to open any one I get a message "cant find the file"'

The other plugins work OK

I have Gimp on a Win 10 computer in this config and works fine with Nik Collection made all files the same here but wont work

First a caveat, I generally use linux, keep a Win 10 VM for the occasional Windows question. Very-very unlikely ever to get Win 11, which seems to be posing some problems with users.

Looking at your screenshots, you have the Google folder in Gimp plugins folder. That is a bit unusual but it depends how you installed the nik collection. The default is in C:\Program Files\...

The nik plugins are standalone programs and should run on their own.  Do they work on their own ? I get an error like this because nik was never installed, I just copied the Google folder into the Gimp plugins folder.

The other question is the shellout.py plugin. The one I know uses the default location, a typical line looks like this:
Code:
 # Build command line call

  command = "\"C:\\Program Files\\Nik Collection\\Color Efex Pro 4\\Color Efex Pro 4 (64-Bit)\\Color Efex Pro 4.exe\"" + " \"" + tempfilename + "\""

Did you ever modify shellout.py ? What nik location does your plugin show ?

Maybe this can help you : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oafDbNB0Ltw

The ShellOut.py file is on my computer here : D:\ProgramFiles\GIMP2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins\ShellOut\ShellOut.py

Thanks for the heads up! I wont be changing to windows 11 now I know this.
I have the collection from when it was free and have moved it over to a couple of computers now. and as far as I know only the sharpener doesn't work which I can live without. There are plenty in gimp and GMIC-qt
