In a certain question about plugin compatibility between versions 2.10 and 3.0, Copilot suggested that I participate in the Gimp-Forum.Net Forum!

AI is very useful for accelerating the coding process for people that already understand how to do it themselves. 

It can replace bad coders, but not good or even decent ones. Which is true for all AI applications. 

Still need the great Gimp devs like yourself!

Code from AI indeed looks a lot like the one I received from my students during my stint as a teacher of programming. On the surface it does the moves but there is little general logic (if any)
