Lock a layers rotation pivot point?

Hi,
Is there a way to lock a layers pivot point for Rotation? So you don't have to reset it each time you want to rotate, good for animation, character posing etc...

Not as far as I know but you can put a pair of guides that intersect there, which makes dragging the pivot to the same position quick and easy.

I had no idea you could do that. Can you have only one 'intersection' active at a time or can you have multiple of them?
