Can Gimp convert a JPG to a Photo?

That's pretty cool, Denzjos.
I s'pose that is is sorta' possible, to make it look like a real photo,
but it would take several hours to make it look Really good.
Would any of the Adobe programs be able to do it faster / easier?
Or any other software?
Please do not blow any more of your generous time on actually Doing this, people.
I'm just curious as to whether or not it Can be done.

That sorta' looks like a Photo, Denzjos. Very nice.
Well, she now looks like a Male, but I'm guessing that can be adjusted.
I just spent over an hour trying to get that Face-Depixelizer to do Something / Anything.
Cannot figure out How to make it Do Anything.
How to upload the original clipart? (The "Browse" button is not visible.)
I had to sign into my Google account, and it also took me to iloveimg.com for some reason.
Can ya' point me in the right direction? How to Start the process?

@Mark2855, I've noticed that the face was more masculine looked and I think that the software is made to convert male faces. I've tried with a male face and it look better although he lost his glasses.

@Mark2855, the software is not user friendly and I tried it again. What I did :
- untick 'upload new photo'
- tick the button on the left of 'let's rock'
- you get a warning, just click to accept the message
- tick the button on the left of 'let's rock'
- on the bottom you see that te software is running, just let it go until you see the result without images
- now tick 'upload new photo'
- on the bottom you see the 'load file' button and you can load a picture
- tick the button on the left of 'let's rock'
- you see the software running and see a result before / after
- you can download a big picture from the result by clicking the button on the left-bottom : 'download result'
Do not hesitate to react if it still not is working for you.

Their claims of "synthesis"  appear a bit suspect.


I tried and failed 3 times last night using a pic of the cartoon character Elmer Fudd, expecting a Nikita Kruschev
 likeness as a result, all three resulting in hard fails.
So, I thought I'd start with something a little more human looking, that got the following result.



I suspect they've likely got more of a huge data base of faces, and matched using "image search" style parameters.  Could be wrong about that, but it's hard to believe they synthesized the result based upon the sample that I provided?

This is an example from ArtBreeder.  I uploaded the cartoon part of the image you posted.  Preparation in Gimp was to crop it and then square it to AB's AI "preferences" since non-squared uploads give unexpected results.  Top left in the montage is what AB made of the upload.  From that I used the AB "Children" function to create the other variations.  Blip. Blip. Blip.  Everything I did in AB was a matter of four or five minutes from upload to download the results and another couple of minutes to make the montage and prepare it for Gimp Forum upload.  With AB you get to upload three images within a month but for more you have to join.
