More help with color changes
#1
I have 15 images that go from this

to this

middle like this

and finally to this

I want to change the colors from orange and black to blue and purple. Is there an easy way to do this perhaps in BIMP or is there a way to create these images from scratch? I see them used as temperature gauges in many pc stat displays like here.

Thanks!

You can use Colors > Map > Color exchange (once for each color). Apply to a representative image of the series and save the settings to reapply them quickly to the others.

If you want to use BIMP on separate images

Set the FG/BG to the required colors
Set the Gradient to FG to BG (Hardedge)
In BIMP Add Other Gimp Procedure and search for plug-in-gradmap
Add the images, set the output folder

This is the equivalent of Colors -> Map -> Gradient Map

If you lock the alpha channel you can just draw without caring for the edges with transparent area the semi transparent color will be respected as well, just use a big brush to do it in 1 dab.
