github don't like FLOSS

github already forced me to have a 2FA, and sure I use a FLOSS one called 2FAS.
Today going to see what Ofnuts did put on github, I got this:

   

I mean seriously...  Micro$oft wants that I pay a monthly sh!t to their proprietary "partners" or wants to know the color of my underwear? F... NO!
It already pisses me off that I need my phone to connect to a website

They don't "force" you . I haven't got one. What they say is that if you use SMS it can fail (for instance if you have to change numbers) and you wouldn't be able to access you account.

OTOH if you copied the recovery codes...

They did force me to do the 2FA before March or April or I would have been in "limited" access... and now if I understood they want me to do another 2FA... I mean....
