To avoid wasting suggestions, please advise You are using Ubuntu 24.04 - Is that correct ? Your Gimp version is 2.10.36 - Is that correct ? You are using a regular install of Gimp 2.10 - not an flatpak / snap / or appimage ? Do you have a working Gimp python installation - Is there a Filters -> Python-Fu entry ? No point suggesting any python plugins if no python. Do you have gimp_gmic_qt plug-in installed ? - No point suggesting anything gmic if it is not installed. For Batch processing do you have BIMP installed ? Since your intention is a quick and easy fix for the the example images then the above information does help.
